Dr. Jessica Sliger, DDS, Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Sliger is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist serving Northwest Arkansas!Valedictorian of her high school, Dr. Sliger was proud to choose the University of Arkansas for her education where she received her Bachelor of Arts degrees and later her Masters of Arts in Teaching. A Kappa Delta Sorority alumna, she was often involved in philanthropic work in NWA. She traveled the world and spent time studying Spanish in Mexico and Spain. Prior to entering dental school, she worked as a teacher in NWA for seven years as well as a cheer/dance coach.
She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City for her Doctorate of Dental
Surgery degree where she was named a pediatric honors student. She received the
distinct Pierre Fauchard USA Scholarship Award for clinical excellence and the
prestigious Dr. Arthur Iwerson Award for excellence in pediatric dentistry. Her faculty named her the John C. and Ruberta Weaver Award recipient for distinction in
periodontics and prosthodontics. Dr. Sliger dedicated many hours to academic involvement as well as participated in many pediatric dental outreach initiatives. For her leadership and volunteer service, she was recognized as the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Honors Recipient upon graduation.
Dr. Sliger completed her pediatric dental residency through Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO where she received extensive training in behavior management and special needs dentistry. She was the recipient of the Colgate resident scholarship.
Dr. Sliger is passionate about her profession and loves working with families. Her emphasis on noninvasive dentistry and her experiences as a teacher and mother bring fit their individual needs.
Dr. Sliger and her husband, Brent, have been married for ten years and enjoy spending time with their two amazing children, Garrett and Layla. Their favorite pastime is playing outdoors and calling those Hogs with their friends. Woo Pig Sooie!
